Toyo Glass and Sasaki Glass were two of Japan’s oldest and largest glassware manufacturing companies founded in1880s. Both companies witnessed the rise of Japan as a modern nation during the era of the Meiji Restoration, Japan’s period of Enlightenment and the Industrial Revolution. TSG (Toyo-Sasaki Glass) was formed as a merger of two to combine their traditional craftsmanship, modern technology and process excellence to bring the best quality crystal glassware to every Japanese household and to the rest of the world.
